Florida Day 3
My mom decided that one night in Sanibel Island wasn’t enough, so we booked a second night! Having all of this extra time, we decided to explore. We found ourselves at a nature preserve, so naturally (sorry) we spent a few hours there and then headed to the beach in Captiva Island (just ‘round the corner) for dinner!
So many crazy animals in the preserve, again, mostly birds. There were also a ton of different kinds of crabs and that weird little guy in the bottom picture that we spent 20 minutes trying to figure out what exactly it was. Eventually we realized it was a turtle. Out of all the awesome animals in the preserve, we sadly didn’t see any aldergators (I will never say ‘alligators’ normally ever again thanks to John and Kate Plus 8)
I never want to leave, you guys.
